Going Green
Here are just some of the steps we are taking in regards to this important issue to all of us.
– We have instituted recycling programs in our offices to reduce the amount of waste we produce from our operations.
– Excess materials from painting projects is donated to charities or sent to recycling centers for proper disposal.
–  We encourage our customers to use LOW-VOC paints on their projects. These are low odor products and may be mandated to be used starting in the summer of 2009.
– Our estimator drives a 1997 Mercedes that we converted to run on used vegetable oil from restaurants. This oil is heated, filtered and used as fuel. In 2008 we used 600 gallons of used vegetable oil from restaurants. Some of the local restaurants that supply us with oil are:
